ReplyDeleteI was just interested in the first Ret list and how you would use it to great effect.
The Griffons don't exactly hit that hard? Would you just surround their caster with them or try take down their front line with Vyros flanking?
They are there for the synergy chain. SPD 6 + Reach + Powerful charge (if needed for both the extra threat and the extra accuracy). The 5th Griffon is hitting at P+S 17 which is pretty good, the sphinx at P+S 22 and/or Vyros himself hitting at P+S 20 (or 21 after the sphinx) and that's not including the aspis which can get stuck in after you start losing a griffon or two. With their shields and a very good amount of boxes the griffons are almost as hard to remove as a heavy and the last one in the chain hits as hard as a heavy. Each Griffon has 26 boxes so that's a lot of damage boxes to work through as well. Even with just 4 jacks left you can still have Vyros hitting at P+S 18. Not forgetting the MAT buff either so none of your attacks will miss.
