WOOO! GALLEON! The Galleon is ARM 24, RAT 7 with the gun ports, all it's ranged damage rolls including the AOE blast damage rolls are boosted, its guns are magical, it can make melee and ranged attacks it hits at P+S 23 in melee. Plus it can drag a heavy to its death every turn. I'd really like to get a shield guard in there but the points are too tight.

WOOO! PIRATES! I really want a third Nomad but in order to take one I'd have to drop the press gang down to a min unit. I think at 35 points I can get away with 2 nomads. This list is fast and full of shenanigans.

At 35 points I've lost Herne and Jonne from my list which means that now Madhammer is the only ones who will benefit from my feat. I've also lost the steelhead halberdiers in order to keep the Nyss to give me more ARM cracking, the Kayazy originally get primed then they Nyss get it late game when they charge in, I can also hot swap it so everyone gets a chance to explode. At 35 points there just aren't enough explosions to get me too excited, at 50 points it's like a Michael Bay movie.

WOOO! BEAR! I'll admit I wanted to do a Searforge list just so I could get the bear on the table. From that point though I had a look at the casters and tried to figure out who would do the best in Searforge. Madhammer is out immediately. There are no good targets for primed and he loses MacNaile and Reinholdt. Gorten and Ossrum both lose something by going into Searforge, Ossrum loses the ability to take good ranged units (Highshields *shudder*) Gorten loses gun mages which interact with his feat in terrifying ways. Gorten however really wants to get forwards to catch stuff in the feat and the extra 4" deployment is a big deal for him. There is some interesting tech in this list but I want to keep these things brief.

I initially dropped Rocinante out of Damiano's list because of character restrictions. That's not such a big issue any more so he might come back, the combination of sure foot and guard dog is a strong one but Damiano stays back and Gallant goes to DEF 15 ARM 19 no knock down and helps out nearby models as well.

So far the number of times Gallant has actually swung his sword in this list is 0 (he has ran into combat to provide a flanking option for Constance). There are 30+ infantry in front of him, he never makes it to the battle before it's over. That's why I think in most lists it should be Rocinante. However before the Galleon (or to put it another way, right now) Mercenaries had a bit of a problem with high ARM and this list was my answer to that. Purgitation on Gallant really helps in theory.

*cue old man voice - Back before Wrath Ashlynn's theme force was particularly devastating. With infantry everywhere, two units of gun mages with UA + her feat and shenanignas from Taryn, Corbeau and Anastasia were really strong. Now not so much. Rocinante is huge for Ashlynn who wants to get forward, Sylys really helps her cast Gallows and Distraction and she really needs some damage buffs which her theme force lacks. Her theme force is still good, especially against infantry heavy lists but whereas before she was always in her theme force now I think you see her out of it more often than in it.

I've talked about this list at 50 points, at 35 I lose a lot of the support and that hurts. Still Kayazy will murder whatever, boomhowlers jam and give me scenario options or can stop things from getting to the Galleon.
I'm missing Fiona, Ossrum and the two Magnuses. I don't have Ossrum, and the other 3 I think really need 50 points. I may come back to them but it won't be in the league. I want to play more Bart, Damiano, Gorten and Shae.
